Bellamy-Fults campaign joins the majority of Floridians in calling for Medicaid expansion

Jason is calling on all Floridians to request a petition to put Medicaid Expansion on the ballot in 2028.

“It's bordering on criminal that our legislature has refused to accept the billions of taxpayer dollars that we've already paid to help provide healthcare to over a million Floridians who are currently without it,” says Bellamy-Fults.

Medicaid expansion would:

-Lower healthcare costs for working families and veterans

-Keep rural and community hospitals open

-Reduce emergency room overcrowding

Particularly given how hard the legislature has made citizen ballot initiative process in Florida, we've got our work cut out for us. So let's work to elect better legislators this November, and then if they still won't enact Medicaid expansion on their own, let's do it ourselves in 2028.
